The Partners In Excellence multi-sensory room is a magical kingdom designed to allow an individual to explore an array of wonderful sensory activities. These activities can be used to help with sensory dysfunction, or for recreational purposes. Children will have the opportunity to explore this environment filled with many lights, sounds, activities and items they can see, touch listen to and/or smell.

Some of the benefits include a reduction in tension and increased relaxation, especially for the child who is constantly running around with his or her "engine" on high. An increase in attention, focus and energy may be noted in the child who is tired, lethargic, or just unable to get going in the morning. Specific to the autism population, the children will experience a reduction in distress and stereotypical behaviors.

This experience can create favorable conditions specifically designed to optimize the unique needs of our clients, and allow them the opportunity for new experiences, to build independence, and cultivate meaningful relationships.
