Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

Full-time position available
Position Location: Burnsville, MN and North Saint Paul, MN (3 days/week in Burnsville and 2 days/week in North Saint Paul)

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and motivated individuals to provide direct one-to-one occupational therapy to children with autism, ages 2-13.

Responsibilities include: Providing therapy, monitoring and tracking client programs and progress, actively participating in meetings, programming, decision-making, and providing overall responsibility for the well being of the child. Candidates must possess effective oral and written communication skills, be a self-starter and able to work independently, have the ability to multi-task and make decisions, be a strong team player, have a high energy level and playful nature, and be familiar with handling behavioral issues with children under stressful situations.

Qualifications: An Associate of Applied Science/Occupational Therapy degree, certified by the State of MN and NBCOT. Previous experience working with child with autism, (new grads welcome), previous ABA therapy work experience, and/or knowledge in the field of autism a plus. Training in autism therapy provided; growth opportunities available.
